Could not install the tool so I switched to Recuva. I got stuck on the welcome screen and the Next button does not seems to work (nothing happens). I am working with a laptop Dell XPS M1330 with windows Vista.

i scanned for the lost wmv file and found it but since i couldn't preview it, i was not ready to pay for the software afraid to find out that the retrieved file might not work after all. So i completely lost the file now. None of the previews worked. It says it can be previewed only after recovery...but of course you'll have to pay first.

It is not helping my problem. My problem is I have accidentally overwrite an important file by another same name file. And I can't search back the file.

Somewhat helpful but not super great It was somewhat helpful but not completely so. It appeared to repair my files but then wouldn't let me open them. I had to use a different program to extract them.

Will probably buy it It did a good job of finding the MP3 duplicates. I like the clean interface, the fact that it's very ID3 tag-driven because I keep my tags up to date so that's more reliable for me than file names or file sizes.I'm very interested in using this when I'm trying to upgrade to from a lower bitrate to higher bitrate MP3. I found that it sometimes got the bitrates wrong, which is a bit of an issue. I would rather keep a 256 VBR than a 192 CBR but if the program gets that wrong then file size alone may be ...

I could do nothing with this one! It could not even read the disk! I Rather spend my money ind Badcopy Pro, that solved my problem.

Floppy Disk Rescue Review Great utility for the price. I use it to get back data from damaged disks, of course. I was able to get a great deal of data back from a floppy that had been in a fire . . .Programmer recommendations: The interface is not very intuitive. There should be an option to skip over various files if you don't want to recover them or if you need to abort a certain file.

A useful tool to backup all those floppy disks you've got cluttering up your drawers. All right, you'll probably never look at them again, but this way, you can throw them out with a clear conscience.

Simple. Do what it`s supposed to. Good for reading/writing. Img images to and from floppy disk. Simple programm, but works fine.

FULL VERSION I suggest you rather give a timestamp with a full version of the software, rather than only a part. You cannot evaluate software if you do not have a copy of the full version, we used the evaluation on a caseware dbf, and it gave an illustration of the recovered dbf, but whether the recovery was really successful I cannot comment on. The user interface: really user friendly and easy to use.
